Step into a year of hands-on ministry training, personal discipleship, and deep biblical formation through the CLC Internship Leadership Program. This program is designed to give individuals ages 18-25(ish) who feel a call towards vocational ministry hands-on experience working with the Calgary Life Church team. Successful applicants will join our staff team for 9 months.
You’ll be trained in the heart and skill of building the local church through:
- Hands-on experience in various ministry departments.
- Regular mentorship and 1:1 discipleship.
- Active roles in weekly and monthly ministry events.
- Daily time is dedicated to working through fourteen foundational courses in biblical studies, strengthening your knowledge of Scripture and earning you a Biblical Studies Certificate in just one year.
You’ll gain real, practical experience that develops transferable skills for both ministry and the marketplace. We have partnered with TheosU for interns to earn a Biblical Studies Certificate. As a CLC Intern, you won’t just grow in biblical knowledge—you’ll be developed as a whole leader, equipped with the skills and character to lead effectively in any context.
What will i learn?
Leadership & Management:
Throughout the year, you’ll learn and practice key leadership competencies that are essential for success in both ministry and life, including: Learn how to analyze situations with wisdom, think theologically, and make sound decisions. Grow in clarity, confidence, and compassion in how you communicate with others—whether one-on-one, in teams, or from a platform. Cultivate consistent habits, integrity, and responsibility in your daily life and work. Learn how to dream big, set faith-filled goals, and follow through with vision and focus. Master the art of stewarding your time with intention, balancing spiritual, personal, and ministry priorities.
All of this is grounded in a growing foundation of biblical understanding, personal application, and spiritual maturity, so you can lead not just with skill—but with the heart of Jesus.
Biblical Studies:
Grow in biblical confidence, spiritual maturity, and theological understanding through our 1-Year Certificate of Theology —a program designed to integrate faith, knowledge, and practical Christian living. You’ll receive biblical teaching from trusted churches, renowned Christian authors, and spiritual leaders—plus personalized instruction from our own CLC pastors and staff team. Over the course of one year, you’ll complete fourteen foundational courses in biblical studies and theology, designed to equip you with a Christ-centered worldview and the tools to read, interpret, and live out Scripture with confidence.

Interns kicks off on September 2nd 2025 and concludes on May 31st 2026.
Tuesdays – Thursdays 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Events
Interns will also be expected to attend and serve at church events as needed—from Team Nights to conferences, community outreaches, and everything in between.
Finance & Application
We believe in pouring into our interns—spiritually, relationally, and practically.
Interns will receive a weekly stipend of $360,
helping to support you as you commit your time and energy to the program.
Each intern will be responsible for covering the cost of the Certificate of Theology Bible College Program.
There are two payment options available:
- Monthly Plan: $205 USD per month
- One-Time Payment: $1640 USD
